| Serious fire at the headquarters of Monoprix in Tunis |
| Saturday, 24 July 2010 18:53 | ||
Indeed, up to 16 hours of the afternoon, the fire was not yet fully mastered, fire and smoke were still visible, given the nature of the area is particularly sensitive because of the proximity of headquarters of the Embassy of France (just opposite) and by the existence of local call center Direct Phone Service (DPS) which lie just above those of Monoprix. Note that the Governor of Tunis and the first delegate from the capital and several senior officials of relevant departments were on site to oversee rescue operations. We waited the end of the fire to conduct a thorough investigation to determine the precise cause of the accident and assess the extent of damage.
